Job Description of the Web Developer: We seek self-motivated, keen individuals to be involved in the development of web sites for internet browsers and other related tasks. Job Requirements for the Web Developer: a. Educational Background - Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/Associate Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
b. Technical Knowledge - At least 3 years experience of HTML, PHP, Javascript, jQuery, scriptaculous, SQL, XML, DOM.
- (AJAX), Apache and other web programming language.
- Knowledge in Ext JS is a BIG plus.
- Excellent in analysis, technical aptitude, and problem solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organization.
- Has good understanding of Relational databases, OOP, and Web/Software development life cycle.
- Experienced in working on Unix machines is a plus.
- Ability to write system and functional specifications.
c. Personal Qualifications - Team oriented; with ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers and team members.
- Strong communication (verbal and written), time management skills,
- Fast learner, self-motivated and has initiative and multi-tasking ability.
- Passion for open source development and standards-based development.
- Demonstrated ability to learn beyond professional training.
