Job Description of the Web Content Writer: a. Educational Background - At least a college degree in mass communication, preferably in journalism. Although, we will consider all candidates without a degree.
b. Technical Knowledge / Job Description - Handles groundwork of the advertisement content (creation, correction, editing).
- Handles preparation of news, press-releases, articles for web and media.
- Maintains existing marketing contents.
- Generates product and promotional copy for online marketing efforts.
- Participates and contributes to Web team's creativity, efficiency, and accomplishment of broad goals and policies.
- Balances creative and well-written content with SEO to ensure effectiveness of online marketing strategy.
- Based on an 8 hour working day, each Staff Writer should be able to deliver at least 1,800 words of original and well researched content.
c. Personal Qualifications - Clear and simple concise form of writing.
- Internet-savvy.
- Organizational skills, including multi-task capability while beating deadlines.
- Ability to adjust in a collaborative work environment and work with less supervision.
- Good eye to details.
- Excellent communication skills, innovative, responsible, result-oriented, initiative and a team player.
