Job Description of the SEO Specialist:
a. Educational Background
- College degree in Computer Science or in Information Technology or any computer-related courses.
b. Technical Knowledge/ Job Description
- Great internet research skills.
- Passion to learn about the Search Engine Marketing industry.
- Work closely with colleagues to test different search engine marketing and web site design ideas to improve search engine optimization.
- Review and analyze web sites, through detailed written documentation, identifying areas for improvement and change relative to SEO. Communication of these findings (and resolutions of issues) to clients.
- Develop SEO content plans to include keywords that maximize opportunities for indexing, ranking, click-through, and conversion.
- Responsible for implementing different on-page optimization strategies such as changing keywords, HTML tags, meta data information, copy on web site and implementing editorial improvements to meet objectives.
- Conduct keyword analysis and competition research.
- Excellent in performing these link building activities:
- Directory Submissions
- One-way and Two-way Link Building
- Article and Press Release Submission
- Social Media Marketing
- Email Marketing
- Must have the knowledge on HTML and CSS.
- Knowledge on different Content Management Systems is an advantage.
- Knowledge on Google Adwords is an advantage.
- MS OFFICE skills required.
- Provide web traffic analysis.
- Preferably with 2 years of link building experience.

- Excellent written and oral English communication skills while understanding the advertising and marketing language.
- Ability to communicate internally and externally to clients - via phone or email.
- Ability to work independently/efficiently and drive to excel in a fast-paced environment.
