Job Requirements of the Quality Assurance Developer:

We seek highly motivated Quality Assurance professionals who are committed to high standard deliverables and have passion for excellence and perfection.

Responsibilities will require a team player who is comfortable working with both business and technical staff, and will welcome new challenges involved with testing in the mobile space, including handsets.

Job Description of the QA Developer:

At least 2 years experience in testing web sites and Internet-based technologies are a must.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop customer focused checklists, test cases and test plans
• Execute checklists, test cases and test plans and maintain associated test records, as well as perform ad-hoc testing
• Set-up and maintain testing environments
• Develop and utilize automated test scripts to assist in duties
• Record, follow-up and close issues into a defect-tracking system
• Escalate issues to a higher level where issue resolution is not achieved within a reasonable amount of time
• Provide information to technical documentation (i.e. Product Release Notes/Readme files)
• Review product documentation (manuals/Getting Started Guides) for technical accuracy
• Work with development team to understand assigned modules/new product features for the purpose of developing test cases
• Participate in the design spec reviews to understand design, contribute quality requirements and ensure testability.

Ideal but not mandatory:

• Experience in web related technologies such as HTML, DHTML, XHTML, XML, XSL, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience in relational databases, preferably MySQL
• Experience in load and performance testing tools
