Job Description of the Junior Web Developer:

a. Educational Background

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

b. Technical Knowledge / Job Description

• Must have substantial programming experience with PHP.
• Working knowledge of HTML, Javascript, SQL and Apache.
• Excellent analytical, technical aptitude, and problem solving skills.
• Must have an understanding of relational databases and OOP.
• Experience working on Unix machines is a big plus.
• Past experience developing PHP solutions to support high-traffic websites is a big plus.

c. Personal Qualifications

• Team oriented with good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers and team members.
• Strong communication (verbal and written), time management skills, fast learner, self-motivated, and comfortable taking initiative and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A strong desire to keep abreast of the latest in Internet technology and apply that knowledge to solve complex development issues.
• A positive attitude and excellent work ethic.
