Job Description of the Flash Developer:

Responsible for creating highly interactive interfaces for Web, Mobile and Rich Internet Applications using technologies such as Flash, Object Oriented ActionScript, Adobe Flash framework libraries.

Top Requirements:

• An expert knowledge of Flash 8/9 and ActionScript 2.0/3.0
• Strong Object Oriented Programming concepts and analysis
• Expert knowledge of ActionScript 2.0/3.0
• Strong fundamentals in XML and parsing techniques.
• Experience using dynamic data sources with Flash

Other skills that are an advantage:

• More than 3 years experience with Flash development.
• Ability to architect highly scalable Flash based Rich Media Internet Applications using Adobe Suite.
• Strong Object Oriented Programming concepts and analysis
• Knowledge of or experience using data services/Web services
• Knowledge of or experience using Flash Media Server
• Experience with Flash audio/video
• Experience building out large flash sites or games in a team environment.
• Knowledge of Flash Detection/Embedding techniques, Cross Domain Security, multi browser performance issues.
• Experience with optimizing materials for varying bandwidth and platform requirements
• An understanding of code versioning techniques
• Experience Unit Testing, Reviewing and Troubleshooting other developers' code
• Ability to take direction as part of a team
• Ability to follow and adhere coding standards
• Understanding of Object Oriented approach to programming
• An understanding of Flash frameworks (or programming frameworks) and experience working within one or more
• Ability to work with Producers, Designers and Technical teams to integrate designs into final product.
